SRT Labs Featured on the Siemens Connect Ecosystem Series Podcast
April 9, 2022Quarterly Newsletter August 2022
August 23, 2022Hello! With 2022 well underway, we are moving along with new contracts, clients and exciting new deployments.
In this quarter’s update, we are sharing the work we do to transform legacy warehouses into smart warehouses.
Our smart warehouse ecosystem automates robots, provides real-time inventory location tracking, and allows for security tracking of items. It even ensures the environmental conditions of the warehouse meet comfort settings for the workforce and inventory requirements. The M1 Platform brings legacy warehouses into the next generation of facilities and inventory management by offering a fully connected IoT system mapped and streamlined for efficiency. We’re excited to share more about warehouse applications of our platform in this newsletter.
We hope you have had a prosperous and healthy 2022 so far, and wish you a happy Spring from our team to yours.
Cheers,
–Greg
Warehouse Optimization
We successfully completed our Marine Corps 5G-Enabled Smart Warehouse Control Center contract for the DoD in partnership with the Scientific Research Corporation. Our $1.7M contract allowed for development and demonstration of warehouse modernization for post-pandemic era needs.
Implementing the M1 Platform to automate robots throughout a warehouse means a near elimination of manual database updates. Optimizing warehouses through robotic automation allows for:
- workers to focus on tasks that require human intervention, and
- daily warehouse operations to continue if warehouses are short-staffed.
The M1 Platform allows robotic forklifts to reduce inventory retrieval time and streamlines product inventory storage. The consistently updated and tracked inventory system can cut annual physical inventory checks in half. Interested in updating your warehouse space? Inventory Tracking and Management
Monitoring inventory, maintaining security of assets and reviewing actionable analytics can be easily tracked on our map-based M1 Platform.
When inventory is delivered, each pallet is given an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tamper tag sensor that is scanned and aligned with your database. Robotic forklifts utilize warehouse mapping to strategically move new inventory to available spaces in your warehouse. When inventory is needed, the M1 directs autonomous mobile robots to retrieve inventory quantities, alerts the system when an RFID tamper tag is removed, and automatically updates inventory systems when pallets are opened or empty. We can integrate the M1 Platform into legacy warehouse spaces for seamless inventory management that cuts down on wasted time and safeguards resources.
SRT's Technology Partners
SRT Labs integrates with hardware and software partners to deliver a single pane of glass dashboard to view and manage your unified warehouse.
Meet Seegrid
Seegrid’s Palion Lift autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) provide safe and reliable end-to-end task automation for low-lift processes, automating material movement to and from storage, staging areas, and workcells. With advanced Smart Path sensing capabilities and 360° safety coverage, Palion Lift excels in complex environments across the enterprise: consistently and securely moving material in dynamic facilities. Seegrid’s Palion Lift achieves safer, more cost-effective vertical movement for low-lift warehouse processes.
Meet AMG
The ATR7000 is a new class of RFID reader offering advanced Zebra-only technology that provides visibility into the pinpoint location of all of your tagged assets. Now, you can see where your inventory, forklifts, equipment, workers and more are located or moving. The result? Streamlined operations, reduced costs and better customer service. SRT Labs works with Advanced Mobile Group (AMG) to implement RFID inventory solutions throughout a smart warehouse.
When integrated with AMG’s ViziTrace RFID Software, SRT’s M1 Platform can
track inventory,
provide custom analytics,
locate tagged items in three dimensions, and
confirm the presence and location of moving robots or other mobile platforms.
Our smart warehouse ecosystem connects the most advanced automation technologies available to offer a cutting edge solution that increases productivity and improves efficiency.
